From NYCHoops...more of the same...OSU wanted an answer sooner than Kevin was ready to give one and so the OSU staff has moved on. He is now down to West Virginia, Pitt, Indiana, UMass, Seton Hall, Rutgers and St. John's.

I wonder who else they have in mind? It sounds like they have a pretty strong "Plan B"

Note: am I the only one who finds it odd that tOSU asked for a decision but the Jones camp indicated they were not close and now less than a week later their is a PC upcoming.......

Anyone know the time of the press conference? nm- scout said will play in the big east......its premium so i dont know who he chose- doesnt really matter i guess.

Mountaineers land four-star basketball recruit (2:23 pm)

West Virginia coach Bob Huggins has landed four-star basketball recruit Kevin Jones, who is expected to send in a national letter-of-intent to the Mountaineers this evening.
Jones is a 6-foot-8, 195-pound power forward from Mount Vernon (N.Y.) High. He turned down Connecticut, Ohio State, Syracuse, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, St. John's and Seton Hall, among others.
