Watson reminds me a lot of Robert Hughes last year a big back that doesnt have that top end speed, but has good vision and finds a way to get yards...

To go off what cbf40 says: Great vision and patience! Top end speed isn't bad, but missing that burst, I expected to see more homeruns in the clip. How's the competition he's facing? They all seemed pretty small compared to him.

My take on the film: Great size and his vision is good. His blocking in front of him wasn't the hottest to his defense. I didn't like how easily he was brought down...not just brought down, but taken backwards when a guy his size should be moving forward. Not to mention there were CB's doing that half his size. Certainly not a blazer and has a bit above average burst. Not a bad player but I was expecting more considering how early we offered. I would have to think we have Torrence as priority A.

I agree with everything said and he doesn't break many tackles but not a bad prospect just not as good as what I saw from Devoe's film.

Question for the BPRT and those smarter than me...which is pretty much everyone: Since Devoe is in the house and we promised no more RB recruits, is tOSU basically operating on "radio silence" with Watson at this point? I mean, I know he was already offer a scholarship, but do they continue to talk at this point?

Well it is always good to have a backup and thats just my two cents, but you do have a good question and thats the best answer I could give you.

With our promise to Devoe, anyone else brought in like Watson would be considered an "Athlete" or a different position...
