FAYETTEVILLE--When you have led the Southeastern Conference in rushing four of the last five years and have the Heisman Trophy frontrunner, it's really not that hard to get a prep running back's attention.

That's why Arkansas is a player in the game for Tallahassee (Fla.) A&M University High running back Richard Watson (6-foot-1, 220 pounds, 4.55 seconds 40-yard dash), one of the country's best 2008 prospects.

This year, coaches from 32 universities including FSU, Florida, Miami, LSU, Auburn and Ohio State have visited FAMU High. They are primarily focused on Watson, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound tailback who rushed for more than 2,100 yards and 34 touchdowns as a junior. Watson has already earned at least 15 scholarship offers and is the subject of constant attention from college recruiters.

"He gets text messages every day," Reynolds said. "I'm talking literally hundreds in a day."

The barrage of messages forced Watson to change his cellular phone plan to include unlimited text messages.

Despite the distractions, Watson is determined to remain focused on his senior season. "When football season starts, I'm worried about our team and what we have to work on, and getting another state championship," he said. "Coaches and my family help keep me grounded."

Will be making his first visit of the summer on July 7th to Georgia Tech.

Guess that means he didn't make it to camp...I am starting to have my doubts about how long this offer will be on the table.
