Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado State, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kansas State, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Tulsa, UCLA, Utah, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Washington, Washington State, Wisconsin.

Heck of a list. Just missing Florida, Miami (Fl), Texas, USC, and us to have all the major recruiting powers offering.

Jon's recruiting diary...

Only posting this because in the list of nearly 50 schools he has heard from in the last week he mentions Ohio State...although he does not mention OSU in the list of 20 or so schools he has talked to on the phone in the last week.

From what I've gathered from some national boards (from a variety of fanbases)... Major would have OSU right up at the top if they were to offer... or at least if they had offered.. Not sure where we would stand now.. but I still cant believe this kid isnt getting a serious look

Another recruit that would have an offer if we had 20 plus spots...he is a great player and if we miss on one of Zordich or Hale(though I don't think it happens), I would love to see us offer Major.

Currently in second place for the Delbert Ferguson "Why Haven't We Offered Him?" Memorial Trophy...McGuffie has the lead at this point.

Is Zebrie Sanders out of the running for this award?

Not quite, although I would say McGuffie, Major and Moore have a sizable lead. Sanders and Beachum are a little behind because most everyone knows that we have offered (and gotten verbals from) several top OL and LBs.

To be fair to all the candidates, make sure you don't tally all the votes til February. The award should be cumulative, unless you want to give the award out monthly.

For no other reason than "gut feelings", I predict that Major will fall off the radar.
