Film.

My Take: The first set of clips shows a technical LB who keeps his cleats in the ground, shows a fundamnetal understanding of angles, and decent usage of a flipper for separation and scraping...I was impressed with him as a polished HS LB but not blown away like I was with Hale's vids. Then I watched the second set of clips....that set shows an explosive athlete with extreme versatility, football IQ, and a nastiness that you can't coach. Bobby C was in my mind during that second set...this kid's stock just jumped for me.

LSU and Arizona have offered.

This one baffles me...it's not like he's some national recruit you just throw a token offer to. He actually came in here on his own dime during the Fall. He had to have been genuinely interested. Now we aren't being mentioned in his top 7. I can only take this as a sign that the staff must be extremely confident about where they are with Sweat and Hale.

It almost seems like a Barksdale situation from last year, not all the extra curricular BS, but a guy that while he looks great, but isnt the most impressive on film, but everyone and their brother throws an offer at him.

Either way I don't really feel that we need to go after him with guys like Hale, Sweat, Beachum all that we have a great shot at...

When the thread was first created, the only film available was sophmore film and it was not overly impressive. It wasn't until his junior film came out that many of us moved Jon way up on our recruiting boards.

Beachum is obviously a candidate for a LB offer. Dewey Elliott, if grades are in order, is possible as well. Could just be a case of too many great LB's and too few spots. That doesn't even include someone like Zordich or Staples

Add Williams, Craig, and Rippy to that list as well...Some quality backers in Ohio this year and around the country as well...
