Looks like OSU and ND at this point. I think we have an excellent shot at Oglesby, especially after he visits. I can't picture ol' Jimmy giving Josh a text:biggrin: . Also I just think ND sites are all over this kid and I would say don't look into that at all. We did many updates on Allen Bradford for a bit on Rivals and had no shot.

The interesting thing is that Emfinger has Ohio State leading for Oglesby's interest, with Wisconsin second and ND third. Very early of course, but the only constant is a lead or co-lead for Ohio State. :wink2:

Oglesby is one of the few where the schools of interest are not listed in Alphabetic order by Emfinger.

Yeah, you got me! :shake: The reason I said that is because a lot of people are thinking OSU has some sort of lead right now, when in fact it is going to be a long tough battle to get this kid here.

You guys are all the same, at the start of the year every major prosepct we have heard about has a "great chance" to end up a Buckeye. You all have these unreal expectations of what our class will end up like. I remember looking at this board last year around this time, and seeing what a "realistic and great chance" we had to land Boren, Smith, and Brown. Jump a year ahead and look what happened. You can't deny what i'm saying...because it's the truth. OSU's nexts years class will start out looking like a whos-who of college football, and will end up a solid, but realistic class by the end.

I'm not saying we are out of it, i'm not saying ND has some huge lead with Josh, i'm not saying who will end up with him. Fact is that it is a long season, and I see no reason why I can't be a realistic poster. Some people have been talking like this is going to be a walk in the park...I simply side with caution by warning people to not be so sure of themselves.

So, you're saying that no one should get too excited because it's going to be a "long tough battle." Thanks for clarifying. I don't think that sentiment has been echoed on this thread enough....anybody else want to chime in with more great insight?I just want to say, that I heard he is a ND or OSU lean, and that it is going to be a tough battle, and he is a great player, and I would love to land him, and blah, blah, blah....

Yeah, it's hard for me to deny what you are saying because it's truth. I've said all along that OSU leads by a huge margin on Josh...probably 98/2 in OSU's favor. :roll2:

My original post was directed at the three posters before that post....not you. I'm not going to get into a pissing match about it, here's to hoping Oglesby does end up a Buckeye. :cheers:

Wow, I guess might as well shut down the recruiting boards because we shouldn't have any expectations at all about getting some solid out of state talent.
