'07 WI OL/DL Josh Oglesby (Wisconsin signee)

I can already tell you that they'll argue it was because it's closer to home.

Here's the reality though, in a quote from Scout.com midwest recruiting analyst, Chris Pool: "I think it's safe to say that everyone is chasing Wisconsin right now. Josh will have to blown away by a school for him to leave the state. It can happen but it will be tough."

That has been my thoughts all along, but I am holding out a little hope.:biggrin:

Granted, I would love to see Oglesby become a Buck. But, consider this, if he signs with Wisky, we will have to play against him within conference. If he goes to ND, our chances of playing against him significantly diminish. Now, I am neither a ND, nor Weis fan, but it may benefit tOSU that he not attend a Big 10 school. On the other hand, if he makes the appropriate decision, and become a Buckeye, I would be very happy. :biggrin:

I have no problem with big name guys staying in the big ten. More competition only means more exposure for the whole conference.

Now back to Oglesby.:)

I would much rather him go to Wisky, even if we play him more. He does not need to go play for Weis. and besides, if his grandma is that sick i may want him to just go to wisky, even before us. to me family is more important than anything we are going back and forth about. either way, i do hope the best for him, and IMO that would be here or wisky.

i just hate notre dame, alot. whisky doesnt bother me that much. prob my other favorite big10 team other than northwestern.
