Oglesby refutes past quotes about Michigan not recruiting him hard and about him having a list of favorites. He says that everyone is still in it and he hasn't pared his list down yet. He is going to make a lot of visits to make the most informed decision he can.

Totally agree, Michigan is a lap or two behind the leaders in this one.

Recruiting isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. It's still very early and Michigan's staff isn't going to just give up on him. Michigan is top heavy at interior lineman through the last 3-4 recruiting classes, but light on tackles, mainly left tackles, the position Josh plays. I'm not saying they'll land him, but I think they'll turn the heat way up and make up some ground. They'll take their best shot at him and if they get him great, if not they'll find someone else.

Very serious article. Josh's grandmother has cancer :( , and all his scheduled visits are tentative to be cancelled or changed.

Hopefully everything works out fine and his grandmother fully recovers. Hes a good kid that is putting family ahead of recruiting.

IMO a very positive update for the Buckeyes. He seems like a Tressel recruit. Like I said it seems like a very positive update, he just raves about everything that OSU has to offer. I feel more confident now than before I read that that he will end up in Columbus.

The fact that O Pace is his idol cant hurt either. :biggrin:

All of us are saddened by Josh's mothers illness and they are in the prayers of all of us in Buckeye Nation. Without knowing the type of CA his mother has or the seriousness of the disease its hard to elaborate on the decisions he has. But as a parent I know that no matter what, healthy or not, she wants whats best for her son. Hopefully they will realize that being apart of tOSU is something special and there will be a great number of people looking out for them. No matter what their decision we wish them the best for a speedy recovery. God Bless

All of these updates sound very encouraging and I would have to say we stand a pretty decent chance. However, most Wisconsin prospects stay home. Any guess at this point grad or is there little inside info?

Not Grad, but this is a wide open race with a couple teams like us, Wisky, ND, Michigan out in front. There wont be a decision anytime soon.

I do like the things he has said, but he has said great things about all schools recruiting him.
