Obviously, some of you need a more "Hookd on Fonix" breakdown...
Im not bailing yet...that's all. If he announces for TennyC tomorrow...what do I lose?? Credibility??
Who cares...I'm riding our sources until he pullls out a hat that does not say tOSU.

Thanks man...and to be honest, I may be standing alone. Unless Grippa is clueless, I am likely wrong....however, Im going down with the ship.

Couple of things
1-I started following recruiting back when I was in HS, before the internet, reading the back of Street and Smith, or whatever other preview was out there, just perusing the list of top seniors to be, and best classes. Despite all the hype and Army AA stuff, the picture isn't any clearer.

I'm more shocked at how people are taking one blirp in the paper. Misleading items happen numerous times each recruiting year. How many years in a row must some paper misqoute a player, how many times do coaches have to give out the wrong info before we learn to be patient and wait for an official announcement. PS- Rumor has it Ben practiced in a Tenn. t-shirt yesterday. That should give us a hint

a newspaper is one thing... that lichtenfels (at the aaa) told nevadabuck that martin is going to tenn is another. however, with those in the know apparently being led astray (purposely or not), i, too, won't believe it until i see it. the decision is likely only twelve hours away, so conjecture at this point means little to me anyway.

FWIW, Martin HIMSELF has told the paper that Tennessee was the place he felt most comfortable and states that as the reason he will be announcing for Tennessee. Talk about out of left-field.
(I should have known when they started pumping him up on the scout write-ups that he was headed elsewhere though).

wow.....this is a quite a shock to lose the #1 recruit in Ohio to a team from the south, but that is the nature of recruiting, its unpredictable at best. Best of luck to Ben and I hope he has success down in Vol country....
By the way, if anyone complains about being "misled".......this is free information, remember that. Lets all step away from the ledge and realize that losing one player will not have that big of a impact in the big scheme of things. I have confidence that the program will survive. (sarcasm font)
