It looks like the first two weekends in December will both be big recruiting weekends - right now, the Buckeys have three visits scheduled for December 8th (Robert Hughes, Martez Wilson, Josh Brent, all uncommitted, all from Illinois). I imagine that the staff will try to schedule several more visits (including the Buckeye verbals) for the weekends of the 1st and the 8th.

I wouldn't be surprised if we have few uncommitted visitors on 12/1. Staff often likes to have highly targeted recruits in at a time where they can get full attention...

this recruiting business is tough, and nasty.

If any of you have NOT seen "Blue Chips" with Nick Nolte, go rent it. It's hoops, not football, but part of the story is the temptation to sell out to get the best recruits.... Plus you get to see some real life coaches in it like Vitale, Bobby Knight, Tarkanian, etc.

I know I'm idealistic but I'd like players to come here without being wined and dined and played up to....

Not that I have ANY idea of what really goes on.

Who wouldn't want their kid to play for Jim Tressel?? Especially if he was a blue chipper.
