Was it really ever in question that he commited to JT/OSU AT ONE POINT (I know it was nothing he did in public). The question really is how old is MJs information and has it changed in the last couple of weeks, which seems to be the rumors. Of course if MJs information is recent then that bodes well for the bucks.

Ya, this just seems dated.

Clearly, Davis told staff he wanted to be a Buckeye at one point in time. This might have even been the case up to a week ago. Now, however, all the signs are pointing to Davis being with Rutgers.

Who knows when Helwagen spoke to Jenkins.

But hey, maybe I'm wrong and Davis is all Buckeye.

If after all these rumors he chooses OSU, perhaps it's not him trying to make Rutgers look bad, but instead trying to make Rutgers look good. Maybe he promised Schiano he'd make Rutgers look like a serious contender for his services until the last moment.

Alright...I think everyone is pretty much up to date on Davis. Some of the last couple of posts are close to being over the line as far as posting premium info (unless Bob posted his "vibe" on the free board, which I doubt). There are conflicting reports but the beauty is that in about 28 hours we will know where Anthony is going.

i heard that he was wearing gray boxers the other day. obviously its a done deal then.


sit back, and let the kid make his choice. i think its been shown that things will probably work out pretty decent, based on tressels past pickups.

Cornerback Malcolm Jenkins, especially, is pulling for Davis to be a Buckeye. They played on the same high school team, Jenkins as a senior, Davis as a sophomore, in 2004.

"We are friends from back home, and every time I go back we hang out," Jenkins said. "I just tell him make the decision based on what you think. Don?t get pressured by anybody."

Anthony Davis totaled 60 pancake blocks last season for a team that finished the year 8-2 and lost the championship game. Davis was an All-State performer as a junior and was also named to the All-Combine Team in San Antonio at the Army National Combine.
