Anyone find this announcement a little shocking? From all that I've heard, he did not bond well with other recruits while on his official to USC and his mom went on a shopping spree... Anything to do with his friendship with Everson Griffen?

In most years I would not be surprised ONE BIT by USC grabbing anyone/everyone they wanted, but with the Bush allegations and scandals flying over head I thought maybe they would drop a tiny bit in the recruiting wars this season, however Carroll has proven he can recruit just as good given the circumstances(although im sure the California girls, sun, and atmosphere of LA play a huge part of it).

Well I'm shocked by him going to USC as well.
