'07 MI CB Ronald Johnson (Southern Cal signee)

Supermario, where do you think he is headed? Another Michigan fan posted a few pages ago he thought it was Florida and MSU.

Its gotta be Florida, right? Wasn't the USC trip his first time on a plane?

Don't know where but I know it's not Michigan. Don't think it's USC either. Mom blew Carroll off on the official to go shopping and Ronald really wasn't all that blown away by his visit there.

I think his mother approved Top 3 are:

Michigan State, Florida, or Ohio State.

And make no mistake about it, his mother will have the final say. Win over the mom, you win over the Rojo.

I don't believe for a second his coaches were hiding things from him. I feel like I can say that very confidently. That's just not Annese's MO. He's a stand-up guy through and through. The "Annese wasn't letting us recruit your son" line came from some coaches trying to land his committment.

Michigan was not the ONLY school that was still recruiting Ronald. MSU and Purdue still recruited him pretty heavily. However that MSU coaching staff is long gone and he was never going to Purdue. Michigan was the only "powerhouse" school that kept on him like flies on sh-y-t. By the way, how many of the other schools offered to have them come to their university hospital to have the surgery?

I know of a lot of people that have done things that are totally out of character. OB was a stand-up guy though and though too...

They recruited him since he was a sophomore, and when almost every school stopped talking to him after he blew out his ACL, Carr visited him in-person to re-assure him that he had an offer to Michigan and then even offered to have RoJo come down to AA to have the surgery done at the university's hospital.

Considering the talent that RoJo is, I don't think any school missed a beat in his recruitment. It's pretty obvious that at least Florida, Ohio State, and USC didn't stop talking to him. Those offers are also very much still on the table. I don't know what your source is for that information, but its not a very credible one.

I would like to see him pull a "Burgess" on that school up north. That would be sweet, sweet redemption.

Rivals $ (UM site)

This article states that many of RoJo's offers came after his injury. It was written 1 month into his rehab... so those offers were pre-recovery. Why offer a hurt kid if you aren't serious about him?

So where did the 'only UM recruited the hurt RoJo' mindset come from? Even if UM was after him the hardest, there seem to be far too many suitors for this to be accurate.

I just can't understand that if her son wants to go to Michigan let him if he doesn't oh well. I think their is more to this story and we will find out soon enough.

Go Blue!

Maybe his mother is a little older and wiser and wants to send her son to where she thinks is best? Just a thought.

Acutally my source is as credible as it gets. Florida wasn't even recruiting him at the time he blew out his knee, so there is no way they could've even stopped. He wasn't even on Florida's radar back then.

I respect your opinion but Michigan and OSU are basically out. Well Michigan is out for good, but Florida and MSU our probably his top choices.

Michigan is out. His mother doesn't want any part of her son attending college in Ann Arbor. She's made that clear.

Ronald was supposed to meet Michigan at his school today. Problem is he never made it to school today. His mother contacted Michigan and basically said buzz off. They are d-e-a-d.

Feel very confident in saying it's not USC.

MSU's has a chance, how good, I don't exactly know.

I'd say...

1) UF
2) OSU
3) MSU
