From the Auburn site...Nick will be at Aurburn on Saturday for the day. He has narrowed his list to Auburn, LSU, Florida State, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia Tech and says he has no leader. He'll narrow it down to three and take officials after the summer.

what does your hearts really tell you about our chance with claytor? REALLY! claytor becomes a hot topic ever since he camped here couple of weeks ago. not saying he is not already an accomplished high school football player or a heavily sought after college prospect, i just have not really heard about him before 2 wks ago. i know there's the family tie up in toledo; i know he impresses the coaches enough to earn an offer; but what IS the realistic chance we have with him in your HONEST opinion?

ps. we took it as our advantage with claytor as his dad lives in toledo. but, maybe i am overthinking it, it also tells that his parents are apparently separated and he has been with his mother down in georgia. would mamma have more influence on his final decision than his father, who is currently not with them??

I'd say realistically we are probably going to have a battle with Auburn but in the end I really think he ends up here...and that is my honest opinion, sans Kool-Aid.

I had the chance to speak with my mom over the weekend about how our family knew Truman Claytor and she couldn't remember. A little bit later she calls me back and gives the phone to Kevin (whose her first cousin) and he tells me Truman is his first cousin on his dad's side of the family. He saw Nick when he was in Toledo last month and everyone kept telling him he should go to Ohio State. He couldn't believe how much Nick had grown since the last time he saw him which he thought was about three years ago.
