'07 GA OL Nick Claytor (Georgia Tech signee)

I might be reading into this but everywhere I see his top 6 Ohio St is the first school on the list. I hope that means something.
I would think being from Ohio would lend itself to that. However he has to be willing to move out of the south. The benefit is that he still has family up here, that tends to ease the mind of a parent with a kid going away to college.

I would love to see this kid in S&G. Hopefully getting him into camp early will be helpful.

USC, CU Still Working Claytor

By Phil Kornblut
OL Nick Claytor (6-6 312) of Gainesville, GA recently trimmed his list of offers to a final six of Auburn, LSU, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Ohio State and Notre Dame. USC and Clemson are among the other schools to offer Claytor and neither has stopped working him. Claytor said he talked to USC recruiter Ron Cooper Wednesday afternoon. "He told me to give him a chance and don't count him out," Claytor said. "That's fine. I'll definitely check them out before I make my decision." Claytor also heard from Clemson recruiter Ron West Wednesday. "He wanted to know if I was coming up for camp and an academic visit," Claytor said. Despite those contacts and others, Claytor called his list of six a "good, solid six." He plans to camp this summer at Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Auburn. He does not have a leader.

Nick enjoyed his trip to Columbus for Ohio State's camp. He plans to go to Auburn's camp on June 10th, and Florida State's camp later this month. He has no leader, but will use his visit to Ohio State as a benchmark.

Nick's father, Truman Claytor, lives in Toledo and would love to see his son at Ohio State. The elder Claytor played basketball for the University of Kentucky, and was a member of the Wildcats' 1978 National Championship squad.
