The Florida "insider" I spoke to believed Scott was headed to UF up until the day he committed to OSU and also believed Rolle was getting an offer the day after the NC game. So don't believe everything you read...the record of many "insiders" this year has been sub-par at best.
Back to Major...OSU still leads...Miami is still a threat based on Shannon and Hankerson.

As for Scott, what you said do not contradict what I said. They believed he was headed to UF because he committed over the previous weekend. No one really knows what happened afterwards. Recruits change their minds, Wright could too, so you can't really hold the recruitniks over those types of situations. I'm sure you're already very well aware of that.
As for Rolle, I guess you admit that the UF insiders mostly thought Rolle didn't even have an UF offer?
Honestly, I don't think as highly about Wright as Scout does. I don't think he's a 5-star guy. I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever class UF ends with, as there are still plenty of talent left on our board

Following his Florida visit this weekend, Major says tOSU still leads but he will still visit ND and Miami.
College football's national signing day is less than a month away, and Florida, which dominated Ohio State in the national championship game, appears to be closing the gap on Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas safety Major Wright, who has listed Ohio State as his top school since last summer
Said Larry Blustein, a national recruiting analyst for MSL Sports: ``If Florida gets Major Wright, then they'll be killing it for a long time. He can come in and start for four years.''
Wright, a 6-1, 200-pound blue-chip defender, visited Gainesville last weekend and experienced the excitement of the Gators' national championship at its climax. This weekend, he will visit Notre Dame, which already has received oral commitments from some of South Florida's top high school seniors.
