A little tidbit on Devine from the Florida's "The News-Press":

North's 63-7 shellacking of Estero High began with the opening kickoff, which Devine returned 84 yards for a touchdown. His first rushing attempt went for 54 yards and a score. His second carry went for 44 yards and a score.

Three touches, three touchdowns with 1:38 remaining in the first quarter. He carried the ball just twice more, none in the second half. This comes on the heels of last week's game against Riverdale, in which he carried just nine times — albeit for 365 yards and six touchdowns.

VERY impressive... but his size makes me wonder how he'd hold up to a few hits from 300 lb kids that can run 4.9s .. can anyone vouch for his size? if he's posted as 5'7' 180 .. he could be 5'5" and 160 ... but his speed almost looks like someone tampered with the video... how fast is this kid?

2 weeks ago, Noel had 358 yards and 6 TD's on NINE carries. For the season (through the 8th of Oct) , he's at 917 yards and 13 touchdowns on 52 carries in five games. That's 17.63 yards a carry with 9 and 10 men in the box to stop him whenever he comes into the game.

He's getting just 10 carries a game. How strange.

Has anyone actually SEEN this kid?

I'm starting to feel like it's another fantasy story like the barefoot pitcher that threw 150 mph fastballs...

Do we know if Devine is real?

Who knows if he really exists, but the rumors floating around here are good. The one I just heard was that he is a cousin of MoC and wants to go to michigan to pay back OSU for doing MoC wrong.
