'06 OH OT Lee Tilley (Auburn Verbal Commitment)

I got a phone call last night from a buddy of mine that attended the jackson v franklin heights game and said that lee tilley had his hands full with a dend from jackson that is only a junior...Anyone else catch this game?

That would be your buddy seeing what he wanted to see. Tilley has had a great season and has been an asset to the team and school. He has recently said that he loves Franklin Heights and that its a great place for anyone to go to school.

I know I am a Lee Tilley apologist on here, and that may be so, but the truth of the matter is that he is narrowing down his schools and has just got back from his first official to Oklahoma.

He has a visit to Arizona State this week with LSU the following week. He has not scheduled any other visits. He is considering Virginia Tech, Florida, South Carolina, and 2 schools he is not mentioning. Cincinnati is on the way outside and looking in.

He has also said that is OSU offered he would visit them and see what they had to offer. His coaches (Beckham and Broering) and his family were very upset at the way one of his articles came off being anti-osu and when Peterson called Franklin Heights they made sure he knew that, and expressed that they would give OSU a hard look before they committed anywhere.

I think you need to remember that these are kids and that sometimes reporters like to run with stories and make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Just thought I would pass this info on, I know that I am probably up for a blasting but, I thought I would share my info with you guys.

Thanks for sharing that...I think it has helped Lee to be in an option style attack. Now ALL the coaches know that he can run block just as well as he can pass block. When the film of his senior season is made available I think most of the Buckeye communities will be impressed...

I think Thomas is slightly more of a priority than Tilley. And Tilley is probably a bit more of a priority to the staff than Nagy or Browning. I would love to get 3 from that group of Thomas, Tilley, Nagy and Browning.
