'06 MD CB A.J. Wallace (Penn State signee)

Hard to believe we want him as a RB when we already have Wells and have all that depth with Mo Wells, Haw, and Pittman there. If anything I might believe we use him mostly at corner and play him a little at WR ala Gamble(or, hopefully not Justin King).

he must be another Chris Gamble type of player if all those schools are recruiting him as a CB, S, RB, or WR.

If we are recruiting him as a RB that seems like HAW or WELLS might be having problems with school , team rules or CHRIS WELLS

just curious with the # of schollies to be used for other positional needs and some juniors rb's we are in on

Last year, at cstv.com, formerly collegesports.com, on their recruiting section a day or two before the game, they listed every kid that planned to announce at the Army AA game, and their favorites. The kicker was, w/out exception, every single school listed #1 in the list of schools the recruits were considering, was the school chosen on TV. We'll see who is listed first for AJ, i got a bad feeling it's the Nits....

Its amazing how we were always in the lead or in front for Wallace, and then PSU came out of nowhere.

Penn State looms very large in the Maryland/DC area. It's why they landed Derrick Williams last year. They're thought of as the East Coast's most storied college program. That won't change when Joe Pa leaves either. It's like what scUM South, Florida and FSU are for Florida kids. Every great HS player from that area has them on his list.

Is anyone here able to access Wallace's latest update from the FSU scout site? When I click on the story it takes me to a subscription page. Just looking to see if anyone else with a scout membership is having this problem.
