This is why I think we land Wallace. I think his heart seems to have been with OSU for quite some time and if OSU keeps up full court press in these last couple weeks before the AA game and the Glenville trio have a nice chat with him(even though he will be decided going into the game) I think he ends up a Buckeye. I am just going on what I have read and my gut feeling so just speculation on my part. I was also wondering if he has posted over here before as well as on BN. I really hope we get him because he is just a great 2 way player and could either make a great DB class with Schwartz, Coleman, and perhaps another or a great WR class with Small and Chichester, OR a great RB class with Wells.

Well I want him here in Ohio, but if he goes elsewhere then I wish him the best.
Great athlete with good measurables and has the makings to be a beast, I always thought that he would have a shot at some playing time next year.
But here's to hoping that he chooses to come to Columbus.:cheers:

A.J. Wallace will be a buckeye...in my opinion. This is one of two players I think we need for another good class. other guys we are getting are good too. But based on position needs and talent ...Chris Wells and A.J. Wallace are a must for this class.

FWIW, i didnt read what the Nebraska guy said about Gwaltney last year or when he wrote it, but had we not had the allegations and possible probation going against us, we would have landed Gwaltney. the nebraska guy might now what he is talkin about

I hope so, but I double checked with the guys who were calling him to PSU and each of them said they have not heard anything different and he was expected to verbal this weekend to JoePa.

I hope he changed his mind, but I am not getting my hopes up over an outside opinion when compared to guys with direct contact.
