Wallace was recently selected for the U.S. Army game. They made the announcement at the Pentagon, so he's obviously a big name in that D.C.-Maryland area. The Beltway product has pure blazing speed -- like many of the others, he's being recruited as a running back and as a defensive back. Wallace scampered for 1,367 yards and 22 scores last year and caught 12 passes for 224 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That said, he played every position in the secondary and tallied 65 stops with a pair of interceptions -- and he can get on the field quicker in college as a corner. He's very smooth, with excellent recovery speed -- just terrific all-around ability. Nebraska is coming on hard, but don't rule out Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, Penn State, Syracuse, Florida State, Florida and Tennessee.

Is something missing here, or am I missing something?

and this dude calls himself a guru. We are the team that has been on him all year and been either his leader or co-leader and he forgets to list us. There is a reason why espn let him go, and it just becomes more clear everytime he publishes something.

Ohio State, Florida State, Nebraska, USC, Penn State, and Miami are all even according to Wallace. He will visit Miami(FL) and is waiting on word from USC about a visit.

Mickey Andrews comments in here were horrible... Telling AJ that all their young corners aren't turning out to what they thought they'd be. No matter how true, I don't believe you should tell other recruits that and defame the players that are already on your team.
FSU is in a big time state of disarray. We'll see how his last two visits go, but I still think we are the leader for AJ...

I didn't mention the comments in the update but if a coach is bad mouthing his current players he recruited to play there, who says he won't be bad mouthing Wallace in a few years. I was suprised to see those comments in print. Regardless, it goes to show you some of the lengths coaches will go to get an advantage for a recruit.

I don't think it's that far fetched or uncommon at all. If playing time is paramount in a blue chip prospect decision making the coach has got to tell him something. If a coach says you can come in and play right away, isn't he basically saying that the players in front of him aren't better? What the coach apparently said in this instance may not be the most tactful but it got the point across. If Youboty, or Whitner leave you don't think some OSU coach isn't going to mention it to a player of AJ's purported stature?

sure osu would be selling PT. however, they wont be telling him that he looks better than andre amos or malcolm jenkins to try and drive it home.

now on the flip side, is it far fetched to think that fsu didn't tell the current kids on the roster the same thing? Is it even a stretch to think that they wont be telling some senior next year the same thing about wallace? Throwing current players under a bus in order to try and land a recruit is classless at best. FSU just better hope that those comments dont get back to the team.
