From the Miami site...Devin says his older brother hangs out with his cousin Roscoe a lot. He is getting lots of handwritten letters from Miami. His favorites are Miami, Ohio State, Florida and Texas (with Miami seeming like his obvious favorite).

Devin has always liked Miami and always wanted to play for them. However, he wants to check out other schools to make sure he has the correct decision. He lists Miami, Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Texas, Ohio State and Georgia as his favorites. Devin will camp at tOSU this summer.

From the Vols site...Tennessee was the first to offer, followed by Ohio State, Florida, and Alabama. Miami (FL), Georgia, and NC State are also showing interest. Devin ran a legit 4.4 at the Miami NIKE camp. He has the tools to be a shutdown corner and a dangerous returner. His coach says Tennessee is on top right now, followed by Ohio State, then Miami (FL), mainly because of playing time. He is in the process of transferring from Hollywood Christian, most likely to Gulliver Prep.

Anybody know what position we are recruiting him as? He seems about the same size as Ginn... though maybe 0.1 second slower... though still blazing speed. Is he is anything like Roscoe, I will gladly take him.

I don't know how recent it is, but his Rivals profile has been updated since I last checked it out and he has Ohio Sate and Tennessee on top. However, from the little bit of the story over there that I can read, he may want to leave the South. He seriously though could have the explosion on offense, with his speed, to be a Holmes/Ginn-esque WR. He also has the genes to be a good one. You talk about speed that we have right now at wideout, well is Parrish comes aboard, even after Ginn/Holmes/Gonzo leave we will still have Amos, Dukes, Hartline and hopefully Parrish.... and Pascley is no slouch himself (4.4-4.5 speed as well). Over on a BN chat, Steve H. (I think it was him) says if the staff gets in the impression Santonio is headed to the pros after next year, we may take 2, maybe 3, wideouts in this class.

Devin now has four favorites - Miami (childhood favorite; cousin Roscoe attended); Tennessee (offered); Ohio State (offered); and USC.

He is being recruited as a WR, but his coach thinks that he could also play CB.

His mother wants him to leave south Florida....

I would have to say that the writer doing this article is the biggest homer...
The TG2 thing at the end also struck me funny.... I wonder if he told that to the coach.

Parrish coach: He is similar to TG2...

Reprter:
Really. Did you know USC was the first to offer TG2! That is why he is so good...

Devin had a solid showing at the Florida Nike camp. He excelled in one-on-one drills and made some acrobatic catches. He is not looking to follow his cousin Roscoe to Miami, but will instead choose the best situation for himself. He likes tOSU and the way the program plays young players and promotes its players overall. He plans to camp at OSU, Michigan, Miami (Fla.), Tennessee, Florida and possibly USC and Minnesota.
