'06 FL WR Devin Parrish (Florida International signee)

very nice to hear that osu is in on him. the only problem is that being the early leader for a southern kid isnt always reassuring in that they tend to decide later in the process than most.
excellent point as usual tsteele, but this kid is a HUGE TGII fan...I think he is ours to lose, especially with us offering so early.

I have had a good feeling about him every sense I heard that he was a TG2 fan, I truely feel that a visit with none other than Teddy himself would more than likely seal the deal with this kid, and having options like Devin and Ray Small is why we will be a dangerous team to deal with for a long time to come.

his circumstances may be different than most southern kids, but i was just making a general statement. that's why i dont get overly excited when a southern kid has osu as an early favorite, but wants to decide very late in the process. hopefully it works out well for us, but if miami offers, i would think it makes it quite difficult.

Devin holds offers from Ohio State, Tennessee, Minnesota and Eastern and Western Michigan but many coaches, including nearby Miami, will be at Parkway Academy's spring game on thurdsay night. Devin lists Michigan, Ohio State, Miami, Auburn and Alabama as schools of interest but says Michigan is his current favorite. He plans to camp at Auburn and Michigan for sure, but there are other possible camp destinations.

Parrish has about 7 offers. Devin has worked hard in the classroom and has raised his stock. Apparently, Ohio State has not offered even though at one point they said they were going to offer. Parrish says when they do he will verbal. He likes Ohio State, Michigan, Miami, Florida, Auburn and Minnesota. His top two teams are Ohio State and Michigan.

Am I reading this correctly that if/when we offer, he will verbally commit to us?

Thank you. I was uncertain because one post says scUM was his favorite and another says he will verbal OSU if they offer.
As BN said above, welcome to the world of recruiting. It's a lot of fun, isn't it? Especially when the first two updates that I've read were Mixon's, and Devin's. Sounds like they both could be Buckeyes fairly soon, if we offer Parrish.:)
