if a top-100 player wants to come to OSU... they will take him. there seems to be a possibillity that some of the schollies will be banked anyway... and we can always develop a walk-on FB

Well, just saying that since we have a limited amount of scholarships, I would rather use one on a more needed position other than RB.
I gotta believe that he gets the Miami offer that he is looking for now...
They didn't get any last year.tsteele316 said:possibly so. however, miami has javaris james in the fold already, and they are hosting 4 rb's with offers on official visits this weekend. they could very well get at least one commit maybe more from that group. i wouldnt think that they would want more than 2 rb's in one class, but that's just speculation on my part.

Well recruiting rankings aren't just made up out of thin air. If the kid is good enough to get into the top 100, there is a reason for it.itownbuckeye said:why do you say that? i doubt they're gonna offer him just because some recruiting service placed him in their top 100. maybe they offer based on talent they see but if any school gives out offers based on scout or rivals recruiting rankings then they've got issues.

Robinson says Ohio State is his leader but if Miami(FL) offers they would be the leader by a wide margin. Miami(FL) made contact recently.
1 -- no school is going to offer because a kid moved into the Top 100. That's rediculous to even think that.
2 -- Miami has known about him before this Top 100 ranking anyways.
There's not much info on Kylan yet - Rivals has not yet ranked him (the article linked above is the first on him), and he's not even in Scout's data base. However, in the Rivals' article, there is no mention of his playing any other positions, and he states that he wants to play RB in college (and the NFL). So, looks like RB all the way....
EDIT: Actually, Scout does have Kylan listed, except that they have him residing in Anchorage, Alaska, which is apparently where he lived before moving to Tampa.

With one in the bag already for this class and supposedly 4 recruits with offers visiting Miami this weekend, they're sitting pretty as far as the RB position is concerned. Three blue chips returning next year, 2 froshs behind them, plus whatever they get in this upcoming class. That is DEPTH!
