McCoy is really looking forward to his visit to Columbus. Apparently Cornelius Greene has been talking up Ohio State and Rico can't wait to see everything with his own eyes. Luke Fickell visited him and said Marcus Freeman might be his host. His last two visits will be to North Carolina and Tennessee. He will make his announcement at the AA game in San Antonio.

I think that the AA game could be a huge day for us. I really think with all the push for tOSU for him that he becomes a buckeye. he has even posted over at bn. With him, Wells, and maybe Gwaltney all in the same day. I think we all just fall over dead.

Ok I will come back to earth now.

Gary from bn said that Robbie isn't going to be able to move his visit up to this weekend but Alex and co. are going to take care of it for Robbie. That is what Robbie told him. Good news. Hopefully we can get him to skip the rest of his visits and become a buckeye.

if that were to happen i would probably have the same reaction that my husky does when i come home from work. spin in a circle wildly about 4 times, then proceed to pee.


any commit osu gets at the AA game is good pub.

"I really liked my next conversation with Rico McCoy. What do you know...he said he just spoke with Rob Schoenhoft a short time before I called him. He said that Schoenhoft called him out of the blue at the beginning of the season and the two have stayed in contact since.

He's looking forward to his Ohio State visit very much this weekend. He's never laid a foot on campus and he can't wait to see the campus and the facilities and the people there.

He said he's studied the depth charts and graduation rates at all the schools that interest him and he's happy with everything he knows about Ohio State. He knows a lot about the Buckeyes.

He's hoping to really find out how he will fit in on his visit to OSU. He really has a good relationship with Coach Fickell who was just at his house last Monday. And he said he's very impressed by all the OSU alumni that he see's every where.

McCoy said he likes Ohio State and Tennessee very much but he also enjoyed his visit to Pittsburgh very much as well. After Ohio State he will visit Tennessee and then North Carolina, all three in consecutive weeks, and be finished. He'll make his decision official at the AA game as well but he's certain he'll know where he's going by Christmas.

He said Ohio State has been with him the longest and he said they have the edge going into the upcoming visits. "They've been with me from the jump," he said. He watched the Ohio State Michigan game and thought it was a "beautiful" game. He thinks he'd be a good fit at Ohio State if he indeed chooses to go there. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :wink: -->

This was posted by Gary on bn on the premium board. This is an awesome update. I love this kid. The line about the OSU vs. scUM game being beautiful just leads me to think that he is all ours.

He is driving home from his visit to tOSU and commented on how nice it went. He really hit it off with the coaches and said tOSU is his leader. He still has visits set up to Tenn and UNC. He has already visited Pitt- those are the final four.

He says he will announce at the AA game on Jan. 15th.
