I wonder if their interest dropped off or if they have been too busy dealing with bowl preparations and the recent image matters.JohnnyCockfight said:It's interesting that Ohio State could have had Hodge rated #1 on its recruiting board so recently, and then dropped its interest in Hodge completely.
thanks hh i appreciate you, happy holidaysHelpinghand said:I don't feel as confident as I once did with Hodge.
He will make his intentions known by Friday.
I was on the sidelines at the Dolphin game and ran into him. He is really having a tough time with it, as there are a lot of benefits playing for Iowa, Wisky and OSU. In the end though, I am hopeful that he will make the right decision.
Hey-dumbass-unless you are a college coach,or a HS coach who regularly has players recruited by D-1 schools, you know two things about recruiting-jack and shit, and jack just left the building. You can watch a coaches playcalling, etc., and make intelligent criticisms if you are a halfway intelligent fan. Recruiting is an art, not a science, and Tressel looks a hell of lot more like a Picasso than you do...........CriticalSteve said:Needed: One new Florida High School recruiter.
Hodge picks Wisconsin
There were some who assumed he'd follow in his older brother's footsteps and play college football at Iowa, but late Tuesday night Elijah Hodge made the decision that instead of becoming a Hawkeye like Abdul, he wanted to be a Badger.
"I just had a special feeling when I was there," Hodge said. "Wisconsin just had so much to offer me, and it's where I want to be."
If older brother Abdul, a junior linebacker, doesn't leave Iowa early for the NFL, the two could meet Nov. 12, 2005 when the two schools are scheduled to play one another.
Hodge, the 6-1, 205-pound linebacker that led the Dillard defense, was a Sun-Sentinel preseason Super 11 pick.
He finished the season with 125 tackles, six sacks, four forced fumbles and two interceptions.
