'05 FL LB Elijah Hodge (Wisconsin signee)

I actually thought that update sounded pretty good for the Buckeyes. He mentioned the favorite part of his trip to Iowa was hanging around with his brother who he hadn't seen in a while. The favorite part of his Ohio State trip was watching The Game in the Shoe and seeing all the "crazy" fans. The Shoe will be there as long as Hodge is in school. His brother will be gone from Iowa in a year.

yea u gotta think that playing with Abdul for one year isn't going to turn out to be a difference maker in this situation, he's made a point in 2 or 3 interviews that playing with Hawk would be great too, and im pretty sure some of those were on the Hawkeye site..

I think he'll be a buck.

didnt he have one of our recruits listed as a Florida State verbal even though he wasn't considering them..?

EDIT: Found it it was Mike Ford, is he an FSU verbal?

Despite still showing Hodge as committed to Flordia, Lemming had this to say about Elijah as of December 15th...

Iowa is also close on LB Elijah Hodge from Fort Lauderdale (Dillard), Fla. The 6-1, 205 pounder's brother, Abdul, is a junior linebacker for the Hawkeyes. Ohio State and Wisconsin are still in pursuit.
No mention of Florida whatsoever...
