I really respect the way this kid handled the whole situation. To me, a "de-commit" as they are called is a kid like Richard Washington or Stanley McGlover who say they're coming all the way up until signing day, they pull out of the deal. Kevin acted with class and to me showed true respect for our program by announcing that he had reconsidered his decision well before signing day.

Cal seems like they got not only a great player but a great kid. Thanks for the consideration Kevin, and best of luck to you at Cal.

Again, Berkeley is over 400 miles from Mission Viejo. He isn't "staying home" except it's in the same state. Ann Arbor is 200 miles from Columbus.
