'05 CA OL Kevin Bemoll (California signee)

yes....as i have been speaking with these young men personally...i see things differently...there should never, never be a reason to get on a young man for making a decision that is best for them....

sometimes those decisions put them in columbus, sometimes they dont... sometimes they think they are going to one school, only to change their mind at a later date.....

Guys. Swear to God that wasn't me. Buddy of mine is over for the game and we're having beers. He got on and, well...

I'm a little embarassed. Sorry about that. I never like being taken to task.

This is upsetting news, though.

Bucknuts and others have now picked up the story. It seems relatively clear that Bemoll has indeed decided to look around. It goes without saying that there's an expectation of maturity and reason on this site, particularly in the recruiting area. I just got done reading the thread on the issue on Bucknuts, and suffice it to say that no one here wants something like that. Where the kid is being talked about in ways we wouldn't want him to know about.

Bemoll looking around because of what May and Alberts said doesn't mean he won't still end up a Buckeye. Like anything in recruiting, there are no absolutes until ink has dried on and ofter NLOID. Follow it, discuss it, but be reasonable about it. Let's keep this place on the level it's meant to be.

And I now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

Sad to hear him back off of the Buckeyes. The situation with the allegations is there, and until resolved, will be there. If this is what is causing Bemoll's concern, then I give him credit for being honest and expressing his concerns in early January rather than signing day. Hopefully something clicks that gives this young man some reassurance. If not, we move on.

I'm still hoping that Kevin remembers that feeling he got when he first saw the 'Shoe, and ends up committing to tOSU.

If not, the best of luck to him.
