Without Joe last year we struggled... I wouldn't mind useing one scholie this year on a FB is the guy is a complete stud. If he is "good" then I wouldn't offer him... stud or nothing as far as FB is concerned IMO.

June 14th, 2004 Update

Clapp just returned from the <!--Default For Oklahoma is to ignore-->Oklahoma camp and he went to the <!--Default For Arizona State is to ignore-->Arizona State camp the week before that. He also plans to attend the <!--Default For Arizona is to ignore-->Arizona and <!--Default For Ohio State is to ignore-->Ohio State camps this summer. Before going to the camps, Clapp did not have a scholarship offer, but shortly after returning from Norman he received his first offer.

After reading this update I got the impression that he throughly enjoyed the OU Camp and really likes OU right now, but will keep his options open.

That sounds about right.... if he impressed Stoops enough at camp to warrant an offer, you gotta think Coach Tressel will be impressed too and offer. Let's see how he rates the schools after he is offered by both. I have a feeling OSU will be back on top.

Not a big surprise that he has OU at the top right after he camps there. Remember what Duane Long has always said--if a kid doesn't list the school he just camped at as his leader afterwards, then you can about write them off. Let's see how we stand after he camps with us.
