That decision was part of the NBA collective bargaining agreement and had nothing to do with the NCAA. The NCAA does not set any rules on who can or cannot be drafted by professional sports leagues.

I agree he needs to improve his defense and probably his perimeter shooting if he's to see 25 mpg. I think he's a Sueing clone who fits best at the 3 where there is a lot of competition. I'd guess he will be closer to 20 a game on average, more some nights, less others depending on matchups...
