Buckeye fans, you need to understand why Oregon and PAC-10 fans don?t think as much of Ohio State and the Big Ten as you do. Most of you won?t agree, but you at least need to see it. Your view of your team and your league is based more on the relatively distant past than on the recent past and...
I agree, it's usless comparing win- losses. We lost to BSU because we had new coach, coaching his 1st game against a good BSU team at BSU. Our O line was all new with some players getting sick during fall camp and not being able to practice. Blount was a ? mark as far as being in shape and it...
I guess that proves both our points. Head to head doesn't mean anything and stats don't either. If your D was so good you would've held Purdue to less points and won. But Pryor turned the ball over too mmany times and you great D couldn't stop them.
How about head to head competition? UO beat Purdue and USC. OSU lost to them. That is really the only way you can compare these two teams. Stats are misleading, because teams play different styles of football, injuries and other factors come in to play. Oregon and OSU have stats that are not...
For the most part we don't have to shut them down, because we out score them. Thats why I think OSU will have trouble in keeping up with Oregon if it's a track meet.
Buckeye78, I'm wondering how Oregon will respond to adversity given that everyone in the country seems to think all they have to do is show up and we're gonna let them do whatever they want.
Not sure where your getting this idea from. I've only read that it's your D against our O.
While it looked like they could run it down our throats, they didn't and no team just ran the ball against Ore. The teams we had trouble against were teams that had good throwing QB's with good running games. The exception being the Civil War game against Ore St. Ore St QB was throwing at a 70%...
