    BP Bets (between posters)

Hey all, long time no write/read. Been busy I guess. I've actually recently become a moderator on a UM board, so that's been taking up most of my "message board time". Good to see everyone's doing well. Looks like some bets are gonna be interesting this week.

Possibly. I've only watched the game once, so I've still got a few more times before I catch up to you guys.

Haha. Yeah, I know they've played some stiff competition... :wink2: Things will certainly change, but all we have to go off of is the sample of 4 games. Tons of teams have played soft schedules. The stats are eff'ed for all of the them. More than likely, they aren't going to change a whole...

Where was the hit in the IU game that hurt him??? I don't think there even was a hit. I think he hurt it on his TD run where he lept for the TD. The only hit I remember of any consequence was against EMU when he hesitated getting rid of the ball on a busted play.

Sure, I'd rather he had an additional 10-15 lbs on him, but I'm not really that concerned. Statistically, Indiana has the 4th best defense UM will face this year. I think Tate's pretty good at avoiding a direct shot. Not saying it won't happen, because it will, and has against EMU. As he...

A quarter? A quarter could be one series, or five. How about 20 snaps? Teams usually average around 75 plays/game, so that's more than 25%. So, is the bet 3 games in which Tate is not part of at least 20 plays due to injury. What are we betting?

Is that an official BP bet? Let's take it there. How many games are you saying? What counts as sufficient playing time per game?

Absolutely, I'm not criticizing. In fact, given the QB and WRs of ND, I thought the UM secondary played pretty decent.

I think the way you deal with an offense like NDs, one that likes the deep ball, is to get your safety to ring their bell a couple times, and they'll be thinking twice the next time they go deep. UM scheme didn't follow that. It was more of a bend, but don't break.

Yes, Bo's teams wore white pants a few years in the mid 70s. Nothing entirely new. Personally, I hope they don't. If they are going to make any change with the pants, I'd prefer to see blue pants. I hate all whites. PSU, Texas..... fugly
