    I'm not very talented

Wow - better Eddie George and Archie Griffin combined?!?! Really? What a dumbass....

Game Thread FIESTA BOWL: tOSU 21, Texas 24 (01-05-09)

I am with you on this - Scarlet and Burnt Orange would be hideous to see together and also a little too close to each other. Last thing either team needs is to confuse an opposing player for a friendly in the heat of the moment. Plus - who wants to mimic USC/UCLA in any way? Lame. :osu:
  3. Born Buckeye

DB Malcolm Jenkins (All B1G, All-American, Thorpe Award, All-Pro, 2x Super Bowl Champion)

Agreed - Jenkins has been a class act and a great player since he got to tOSU. One of my all time favorite Buckeyes. Here's to Malcolm having a great game on Saturday and leading his senior class to a fourth pair of gold pants. GO BUCKS! :osu:

Game Thread THE GAME: Ohio State 42, Michigan 7 (Nov. 22)

Totally agree - I don't like hearing/reading about how so many Buckeye fans are looking for a blowout. TSUN will come into the Shoe and pull out all the stops, desperate to salvage their season. We are going to have to match their level of emotion and put them away early.
  5. Born Buckeye

Why do I hate thee Michigan....let me count the ways...

Well - yes, I actually hate them. This week and every week. Are they respected as opponents? Yes - but still hated for everything from their pompus attitude to their ugly uniforms to their annoying song. GO BUCKS!! :osu:
  6. Born Buckeye

Game Thread Ohio State 30, Illinois 20 (Nov 15)

Not snow, not winds, not freezing cold will be able to stop Beanie and the Buckeyes from dealing the Zookers a serious beating as payback for their dance last year. GO BUCKS! :osu:
  7. Born Buckeye

    LB Chris Spielman (2x All-American, 4x Pro Bowl, 3x All-Pro, CFB HOF)

Totally agree - would be great to have him on the staff. He understands the tradition at tOSU and would definitely know how to get the team emotionally prepared. :osu:
  8. Born Buckeye

    WR Ray Small (official thread)

No way - with the relationship that Ginn Sr has with Tressel the Small situation is a non issue. Think about it - Ginn Jr, T. Smith got the message about being part of tOSU team and went on the NFL. Rose, J. O'neal get it and are contributing members. With the talent at Glenville are we going to...
  9. Born Buckeye

Game Thread Ohio State 45, Northwestern 10 (Nov. 8)

I hate rainy games too - makes for conservative play calling and boring offense (even more so than normal for us). Hopefully our O line will play more like they did against MSU than against PSU so Beanie can go big. :osu:
  10. Born Buckeye

DE Jamel Turner (Butler Community College; transfer to Akron)

This kid looks awesome - hopefully he is a homegrown product that stays in state. :osu:
  11. Born Buckeye

QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Totally agree here - TP is definitely a super talented QB but his passing needs work for it to be truly lethal. Not sure if it is getting through the reads or his delivery but most of his passes are late getting to the open guys and underthrown - which creates jump ball situations. He should...
  12. Born Buckeye

QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I will agree with the slide idea, but the crouch is not so bad either as far as protecting his knees since he is so tall. The thing about lowering his pads that scares me would be injuring a throwing shoulder. :osu4:
  13. Born Buckeye

RB Daniel "Boom" Herron (Official Thread)

I would agree that he does a great job at hitting holes but not sure if I would put him in the same category as Beanie as far as vision goes at this stage. Maybe the same level as a freshman Beanie. I also think he runs a little more like Pittman IMHO. He is definitely our #2 back - much...
  14. Born Buckeye

QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

This week will be a totally different TP - by looking at him on the sidelines you could tell he was beating himself up about the way he was playing tight. He will watch crazy film this week and come out with something to prove. The great ones always do. :osu:
  15. Born Buckeye

    WR Dane Sanzenbacher (Official Thread)

Hope he does get well soon because he has great hands - which we need since our other guys have dropped some easy catches - and he seems to find open spots easily. I love the guts he plays with but taking on safties head first as a smaller dude is only going to lead to more injuries. Get...
  16. Born Buckeye

RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

I am with you on the wheel route - we have run it with Zoom before and it worked. I also would like to see him on some quick hitting curl routes or somehow get him in space in the passing game because as a KR he is running way too tenative. He is going to get lost in the shuffle of the backfield...
  17. Born Buckeye

SG Katie Smith (All B1G, B1G Champion, OSU HOF, Asst. Coach Minnesota Lynx)

Awesome to see that Katie is still blowing up the WNBA and letting everyone else know that she is one of the best womens hoops players of all time - something Buckeye fans already knew.. "SAN ANTONIO -- Someone finally figured out how to stop Deanna Nolan. Katie Smith and Taj...

OBSERVATIONS FROM C DECK - TROY AND MINNIE

great read - loved the breakdown. But I thought I was the only one hot for Britian's Fighting Lady and mythical nacho babes. :pimp:
  19. Born Buckeye

Game Thread Ohio State 20, Wisconsin 17 (Oct. 4)

Agreed - as dangerous as we look offensively with Beanie and Pryor in the backfield we have to really be ready on D and fly around making plays. I do like the fact that PJ Hill is a bigger back since we seem to have more of a challenge with smaller, quicker guys. Stopping the run is key...
