    Oh, and I left out that Bruce needs to bat .500+, that wasn't what I was getting at but I guess thats the way it looks in type. Just hoping the bullpen can be solid for us.

    Nice to see Majewski with a nice outing, this guy has been a disappointment for the last two years and he could be a big help in the bullpen. If the bullpen can put up those kind of numbers for the rest of season we'll be in good shape.

    One thing for sure, they wont make the playoffs in a 162 game season with a 5th starter that bad, something has to be done. Once they get a pitcher for their 5th spot, they have a chance. It hurts to see this.

    Great game to open the series against the Braves, now lets hope they can score 10 against their ace. This fifth spot in the rotaion hurts us bad. I'm OK with not having a top notch pitcher in that spot but we have to be competitive.

    Looks like belisle is going to the minors to get ready for the bullpen and Mercker is coming back up and Fogg moving to the starting rotation. Fogg is just scary, I wish they would start belisle and turn it over to the bullpen in the 4th.

    What would you want for him and who take his place? If he keeps pitching the way he has then I'd sure like to see him stay with the Reds.

    He's 30 now and I know he's not a youngster. Has he improved recently enough to justify being called up? I know he's not a long term answer but regardless of his age, we have room in the pen for good arms. Maybe they'll give him a look in September.

    It's nice to have a minor leauge system that is producing some talent, I think the Reds could be a contender for a playoff spot. Does anyone know anything about Adkins down AAA, looks like his numbers are decent. Would be great to get someone to replace Fogg.
