See how that could apply, but was thinking more of the two that went Clemson, and the one that went Alabama. Believe all top 10 in Ohio? Anyway, am happy that many of those kids are finding solid D-1 homes, and wish them the best.
Along the lines of my post above, does anyone know how Taylor doing in Atlanta? Know she was one of the last 'keeps' on the roster, and whenever have seen a game (usually partially toward the end), see her on the bench, but not on the court. Hoping that she doesn't become another Celeste, and...
My brain knows that we can't take them all. But it still kinda hurts when they go to rivals and/or upper tier teams. And then am still torn when they do well, as am happy for an Ohioan, but not for a player on a rival team.
It's been a minute or two, does Delaware now connect with Worthington? Or is there still farms in between? Have lived in Cali for so long, the cities abut each other, but the streets (same concrete) become different names when cross 'city' lines.
Thanks Script. Read something about that as well. However, article said he had 'reopened' his recruitment. Sounds like he wants a home where he can tee it up on the court immediately, and not do a year in jc or an 'academy'. Pretty certain he'll find one who'll take him. Keep telling the...
It's called golf, guy. What you do one day, most probably won't be repeated day two. Have been playing well, over last month (shot my age, and sub-80's four times), so comes up to the Senior Tournament, this Friday, and my game has gone into the crapper. Took a day off of play with my group...
Has McDuff figured out that there's only one basketball allowed on the court at a time? Or that unless a shooter hits 100% of their shots, someone (hopefully in S&G) needs to collect the rebound? Do like the guard talent, but hard to imagine a four-deep at #2 (shooting) guard. PS, saw U-tube...
Still have my admission badge to the inaugural Memorial. But regarding Script's posting above, think that is a very cool way of doing the amateur thing, having two different pros to play with. Not as familiar with the local amateur talent, but do/are the Buckeye golf team members represented...
Don't know about the rest of you birds, but Sloopy is my ringtone. Always interesting when phone rings, and most of the people (in meetings, on golf course, restaurants) tend to look up and see where coming from. PS, the girl above can really shake it. Almost as well as the 'Back to School'...
Well, we fans on the Left Coast can awaken, take a walk with the wife, have breakfast, and then pop some corn for a 9:00am PST start. Little early to start drinking, but by the time the Buckeyes have won the game, the beers (or other adult beverages) are ready to be consumed. Then there's...
Difficult to say about these highly touted MLB recruits. They can get drafted out of HS, and forego college, as noted above. But after a few years of kicking around the minor leagues, might not pan out. The signing bonuses out of HS for baseball players, are clearly not in the NIL realms...
Yeah, besides being able to wear a t-shirt with "Football Hero" emblazoned on it, there are dozens of exotic car dealerships in the nearby areas, that will be wanting to have this guy drive around in their product. Not bad. The USC area is not exactly a 'nice' area, but there are probably...
Cannot fault this young man. Undersized at 165 pounds, could probably use a year or so putting on some muscle. Improving his skill level might be a plus as well, although he's probably been hooping since he was six. Diebs will have to reopen his recruitment, starting from just a little above...
Sounds like a typical 'hit-it-outa-the-park' official by tOSU. Great news. Do wonder at two of his 'copies' on his posting above. Red elephant and bamamade sound suspiciously like folk from Alabama. Hopefully the good guys win this one. Am guessing that Patricia goes more with three backers...
And, if my gray cells are still synapzing, (sp?), if he doesn't hire an agent, does get drafted, he may still withdraw and return to college, any college.
If he's got the Mamba's quickness, then Hartline might just snag him away from the D. Just a thought, but agree that Coach Mick will get him in the weight room, and put about 30-40 pounds of muscle on him, and could turn out to be either a LB or DE. (probably need about another 20 for DE)...
Guess these guys just throw it up against the wall and see what sticks. This garbage is designed to be 'click bait' to get suckers (like me) to tap a button and read their illiterate junk, plus get your IP address to send even more garbage. Would wish they'd exhibit some literary integrity and...
brutus, if you want to get your 10,000 steps in, just hit the first ball a fade, then a hook, then a fade, and repeat. You'll get your steps in in nine holes, so the second nine will be bonus steps. Been there, done that, it works.
