I'm not trying to count the guy's money, but Day has a finite budget for his assistant coaches. If Hartline takes less, that's money we can spend elsewhere. We saw how important that alumni draw was to Corey Raymond this offseason and he never sniffed an NFL contract close to what Hartline made...
Not saying I disagree, but Hartline made over $18 million in his NFL career. Not sure his take home pay is as important to him as it might be to the rest of us.

Was going off the 6'4", 227 listed in the first post. Didn't see the updated 6'4.5" and 247 on 24/7, though I tend to take those numbers with a grain of salt. Regardless, with coach Mick he'd be too big for LB.
