Absolutely a gorgeous day today, but still hot as hell. Yard clean up is about 80% done, but I had to come in, cold shower and relax after about 3.5 hours of it.

Yep. Mainly it is there to keep the bugs out. Lots of mosquitos, gnats, no-see-ums (like gnats but bite) around here. It does also help a bit with cutting down the uv as well, depending on what type of screen you use.

Woke up this morning to the sound of high winds and pounding rain. Gusting probably around 60-70mph Went outside to survey overnight damage, and a couple of screen panels on my pool enclosure are ripped out, and tree debris is everywhere, but no real damage so far. Got about 4 inches of rain...
