    2013 Big Ten Media Days/Kickoff Luncheon (July 24th & 25th)

Here's your crew at the round-table interviews today:

    Extraordinarily tough Buckeye trivia question

I know you're just counting Big Ten records over the last 20 years (which is why Nebraska should be excluded from that - we've only been around two years) but in case anyone was interested, we've gone 120-46 over that span in conference play. 17 of those losses - more than 1/3 - came during the...

    ESPN College Gameday (official thread)

Mark May utterly ripped on by Good Bull Hunting, an SB Nation blog writer, for his hypocrisy. LINK Mr. May's Wikipedia page has been updated to reflect this information.

    European Honeymoon

Echo the "to each their own" sentiment. Absolutely adore Paris. Had two really great trips there, the people were friendly and the scenery is impressive. The Metro is easy-to-use and gets you where you want to go (or close enough to walk, which is what you should be doing in Paris anyway)...

    Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

If one word I wrote was untrue you could accuse me of being butthurt. But we simply didn't belong in that game, and it's still wrong that we got in a dozen years later. That was Nebraska's game immediately after Colorado waxed us 62-24, or whatever the score was. No team that didn't win their...

It's nice to feel welcome in the Big Ten. But not this welcome. So... no. :D

    Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

You found it interesting about Ohio State, but you put it in the Nebraska thread? Nebraska got demolished in that 2001 game. We didn't deserve to be there, it was a fluke of scheduling and the idiocy of the BCS that put us there, and every flaw we had got exposed by one of the best teams...

    Rivals Top 10 Pregame Traditions

It does. We were just discussing this on HuskerBoard and I thought maybe dotting the I wasn't included because it's not always done pre-game. But if it's pretty much always a pre-game ritual, it definitely deserves to be in the top ten. Top three, probably.

    Rivals Top 10 Pregame Traditions

Funny that A&M's Yell Practice made #1 on Buchanan's list, seeing how he's a bigwig over at TexAgs.com. Ralphie at #3 is a joke. Chief Osceola is way cooler. And painting the helmets at Notre Dame should be nowhere near the top ten.

    Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

This is true, and has to be one of the most bizarre NCAA violations ever. Long story, each professor gives their students lists of books, both required and recommended. The book store where the scholarship athletes get their books was packaging every book on the list for the athletes. The...

    Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

This is why I gave up football at an early age. I've stood next to a few of our linemen. I'm 6'2" and over three bills, and I'm dwarfed by these guys. It's crazy how much different the scale is on them compared to normal-sized humans. Martinez is about 6'0"/6'1" and he looks like a little...

    Best of the Best - B1G AD's

You listed Eichorst because he's the current Nebraska AD, but he's been on the job for just a few months. Way too soon to tell how he'll turn out. So far he's been almost entirely invisible in the role. EDIT - and because of that, I voted "Just win"

    Where Would You Go....

The only drawback with Stanford is the crazy-high cost of living out there. We lived in Los Altos for a couple of years and while it was beautiful, we left California with only a couple of bucks in the bank despite having a couple of pretty decent salaries. The education at Stanford is...

    tOSU vs Nebraska

I wouldn't mind watching this, I suppose. I turned it off about midway through the second quarter because I can't stand watching that kind of carnage against my team, but if someone could give me pointers how to d/l this, I'd watch it.

Childhood TV Crushes - Who were yours?

The first woman I was ever attracted to was Linda Carter on Wonder Woman. Can't post a pic from work but she was the first. There were a few girls from G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) that I had fantasies about, but I think that was later, like in my teens. Also liked Lee...

Big Ten and other Conference Expansion

Click the headline for the full piece. Interesting stuff, since I don't buy for a second that either the B1G or $EC is done expanding.
