  1. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Anyone who is interested in a Drew-Brees-Comparison can take a look at what Drew has done at Purdue: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7_xy4s_nLI. I don't think anyone watches these films, homer or not, can say that Drew is clearly better than Troy. What strikes me the most actually is how similar...
  2. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

I just watched them and plenty of them are from the pocket. I guess I was being too modest in questioning those numbers. You don't complete two-thirds of your passes and 80~90% are outside of the box. That's just impossible. I guess people are getting out of excuse to bring Troy down. Well...
  3. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

In this article, Mike Mayock said that: "The reason is that he makes about 80-90% of his plays outside the tackle box." I don't have the video clips with me, but it seems this estimate is way too high. At least when considering the TD passes, he made plenty of them down in the middle or to the...
  4. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

I love Troy's ESPiN interview. Confrontational, but not too cocky. Well, to me anyway. Way to go, Troy! The best defense is offense.
  5. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

With Brohm and LSU's JR into the draft, what's your thoughts about TS's prospect in 1st round. I hate to say this, but it seems both of them will go before TS. Could there be 4 QBs taken in the first round?
  6. WR Anthony Gonzalez (2005 All B1G, US Congressman)

I followed it closely last year and read most of the posts on Kudla. I don't recall anyone said 1st round. hell, not even 2nd. Most people say 2nd day or 3rd round, even after the combine when he did great in the weight room. A lot people mentioned that he did dragged down 1st rounder Moroney...
  7. I Am SO Spoiled!

Foundamental sound special team misses a couple of plays is very different from shaky ones who gave their fans heart attack everytimg on the field. I'd we are spoiled.
  8. Michigan's real nemesis - Troy or Tressel?

Anyone choose a) will regret. Troy is great, no doubt. But he still needs the environment to shine. JT grants it and Cooper doesn't. Besides, didn't we destroy you guys in 98! Apparently it didn't matter with Cooper being the coach.
  9. LB Coach James Laurinaitis (2x B1G DPOY, 2006 Nagurski, 2007 Butkus, 2008 Lott, 3x All-American, OSU HOF, National Champion)

Maybe because their defense has been on the field the majority of the times? :D
  10. Game Thread THE GAME: #1 Ohio State 42, #2 Michigan 39 (11/18/06)

Too lazy to check. I thought 97 and 98. But I trust you. Thanks for correction.
  11. Game Thread THE GAME: #1 Ohio State 42, #2 Michigan 39 (11/18/06)

Absolutely. Troy is the man!! It is human nature to canonize the past (e.g., John Elway) and maybe they are right. I'm not the judge on the past that I never experienced. But I said this before and will say it again, what Troy did in The Game series can be compared to any football legend out...

  13. WR Anthony Gonzalez (2005 All B1G, US Congressman)

:gobucks2: He better come up with some new quotes other than this one and "holy buckeyes' when we play scUM and in the NC game.
  14. WR Anthony Gonzalez (2005 All B1G, US Congressman)

Gonzo: Music on the field. I'm watching the Iowa game again now. I'm so amazed by Gonzo's plays, as always. To me, it's like MUSIC ON THE FIELD. He is just so smooth and enjoyable. It's great to be a buckeye!!
  15. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Being too young to have watched Elway (luckily not too young to watch Troy), I probalby don't know what I'm talking about. But Troy led his team back from behind twice against archirival was pretty heroic. Not to mention his performance against ND, Texas, etc.

help Could anyone invite me to demonoid please? Thanks. Email: [email protected]
  17. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

I agree with you that we don't want to see him get hurt this way. I think JT would talk to him about this. But think about what other players would do for each other when a QB throw a block like this for fellow ball carrier. I guess this is just Troy being Troy. He just does what is needed.
  18. QB Troy Smith (2006 Heisman Trophy Winner)

Troy's block Did anyone else notice that block Troy threw for Pitt (?)? That was awesome! Could anyone provide that clip by any chance?
  19. RB Maurice Clarett (B1G Freshman of the Year, National Champion)

Maybe I watched too much "law and order", but I think the DAs should look into his motive. Maybe he did talk to others around him about his animosity toward, say 'the team' or particular individual. Had he mentioned anything close to 'wanting them pay for his misery', would it possible to make...
