I have not been there this year so I can't comment on current condition, but overall it is a nice traditional Links type course. They really went for authenticity there so it is not bent grass but fescue, there are rock walls and sod bunkers throughout the course. Overall it is very wide open...
I played up there yesterday too, I didnt notice the greens being too burnt up, but there were several holes where the apron or many of the holes with big slopes up to the green where the sloped edges to the greens were totally burned up. the greens did roll pretty good, but had ball marks all...

I posted this in the Phone thread too, anyone using a good Golf GPS on their smartphone that they like. I have GolfLogix right now but it is killing the battery on my Incredible. I can only get about 6-9 holes in before it craps out.
Recently played a course not far from Youngstown called Old Stonewall in Ellwood City PA. I would compare it very closely to Longaberger, similar terrain, beautiful landscaping and conditions. Only negative would be the $160 greens fee.
