What Are Your Super Bowl Plans?

Beer, is my plan. Preferably something good.

Poll: Which 3 or 2 star will see the field this year?

Schwartz in a walk. He's ready, speed-wise, he's motivated enough that he will NOT want to sit if he can do anything about it, and he is a DB, which means he's a natural fit on kick coverage.

Most important defensive position in collegiate football

Yep, I said DT, too. I agree completely. Really, DL is the big thing. DTs can totally eat up a running game, and help kill passing games. Smith was a boon on passing downs, though, is all I was saying, but yeah, I said DT because it is the most important. Or maybe because I'm a former DT. :D

Most important defensive position in collegiate football

And why did he get double and triple teamed a lot? Because he was a great rush DE. Honestly, stats are not important for a DE, and they should have a stat called "double teams" and one called "triple teams", and most importantly, 'sacks donated'. If Smith was triple teamed, they probably...

Most important defensive position in collegiate football

Well, the DL is the most important, by far. I'll decide later on in this post if I feel it's DE or DT, but it's the DL. A great linebacker can be neutralized if the DL doesn't do anything. A good corner becomes a terrible one when left on an island, and most linebackers can't shed too many...

    DB -All 21st Century Team

I went with Gamble and Fox at the corners (but I meant Clements, I just voted wrong :( ), and Doss and Whitner at S, with Will Allen the NB.

O Tackle -All 21st Century Team

    Olivea and Sims here, too.

    D-Line -All 21st Century Team

I went with Smith and Scott at the ends, and Peterson and Anderson at the tackles. What? That line was GOOD.

    S Anderson Russell (official thread)

I know a couple of guys on the team, and I hear the same thing, to tell the truth. I have talked to some before, and most infamously, Brandon Maupin was an NCAA buddy of mine, but all of the guys I talk to mention 'Russ' as a kid who plays his ass off. I wouldn't say this is super duper...

    DE/LB Thaddeus Gibson (official thread)

I wanted to post more earlier, but I was headed out to class -- I was searching for news on Coco Crisp when I posted that. Couldn't have been more happier, as I'm a huge Gibson fan and I think there's almost no doubt that he makes a huge impact. He's got Cie Grant's speed (maybe faster), but...

Browns fans- Who do you want to draft?

I see the Browns biggest needs as NT, OLB, ILB, LT, and DE. In that order. I'm not 100% sold on Ngata, and frankly, the hole at NT is SO BIG that I expect them to have it solved in free agency (be it a stop gap like Grady Jackson, or a young guy like Ma'ake Kemoeatu), and they can either not...

Which 2006 recruit left on the board do you want the most?

I'm a Gibson guy. I think he's as quick as any player I've seen at LB and he's got a nasty demeanor. Not that I didn't love our LBs, but he reminds me of the type of guys FSU and Miami always have at LB that love to hit and kill guys. Attitude is what sets him apart. My top 5: 1. Thad 2...

    Buckeyes in the draft/NFL Combine

I don't get that sentiment. The big board is Kiper's rankings of the draftable players - that is, all things being equal, this is how he ranks the kid. Straight up just "is player 1 better than player 2", and he ranks them as such. However, without a doubt, a mock isn't just going to be that...

The Team I'd Like in the BP Mock Draft Is --

I'd like to draft for a team myself, so, I would be plenty happy to take Tennessee and let the other guys sort the Browns out. :)

Discussion of Buckeye Mock Draft - Improvements / Suggestions

Well, the probable easiest way would be to make it a Java applet. Then, it could be hosted on my webspace (or anywhere, really). I could easily write the password system, the queueing system and the menus.. the only problem is that I don't know how to make each individual instantiation of the...

    CB Chimdi Chekwa (Official Thread)

Actually, Youboty is one of the fastest players on the team. He tore up the scouting combines (especially the Penn State one, if I remember right), as being one of the fastest players there. He's a killer. Chekwa has good speed for a corner.. not great, no, but plenty good enough.

Discussion of Buckeye Mock Draft - Improvements / Suggestions

I definitely think that the idea of using software somehow to do this is great. Honestly.. if anyone else on here is a programmer, I have some ideas about how to write a web tool to do this. I don't think I could do it on my own, but I think I could set up some things, such as the password...

The Team I'd Like in the BP Mock Draft Is --

Ha, well.. I could whittle it down right now. I mean, my first choice would be the Browns, because that's my team.. but I would be happy to draft for anyone. I was just saying I like those 3 teams, in that order, for teams that hadn't been mentioned. I'm a draft nut, I follow pretty much...

Looking Forward - Making the BP Mock Draft Easier

I wouldn't mind drafting for New Orleands, Tennessee or Kansas City. :) I'm a draft nut, count me in for anyone really.
