The Team I'd Like in the BP Mock Draft Is --

OK as promised - here is the thread for team selections / preferences.

I am as copying in the already stated preferences. Because the way we may run the draft this year may change things around I consider these team selections purely provisional.

I.e. this is not a first-come - first-served basis.

So as everyone knows, I picked for the Bengals last year, would like to this year. But what if 3 others or more say they want to pick for the Bengals like say GoWoody, or JonathanXC, or a certain doctorb? Is it fair that I get to pick 'em and they just on the sidelines marvelling at my genius or ineptitude. That's one way to do business, no doubt, and maybe that is what we decide to do. My thought is we don't know that now.
But there are others - resolving the team preferences is something that can be hashed out in a related thread dedicated to improving / modifying the draft.

Ahem - enough blather.

My preference for team selection in the BP Mock Draft is

The Bengals.

it's easy to draft when your team needs everything. lol.

I'll take the Philadelphia Eagles.

When this all comes together, sign me up for the Rams.

If we are on first come first serve as far as teams, then I'll take the Packers.

(We're probably not on that basis - but who knows how it may end up).

I wouldn't mind drafting for New Orleands, Tennessee or Kansas City.

I'm a draft nut, count me in for anyone really.

You are leaving your options open I see - well I guess a Savante always has more than one choice open to them I'm guessing you will be able to whittle that list down as the process gels nearer draft day.


OK - One last thing - this thread and the remnants of the idea / suggestions improvements thread will likely need some kind of formal moderation - particularly the ideas thread - moving posts with selections and things like that.

Guilty off revisionist history

Wanted the Bengals last year - but you had them picked early (and yes you did quite well thank you).

My efforts went to improving the Steelers stock -

Mmm - guess that's why we have this thread though. Your preference is clearly stated. If we go with past is prologue then surely you would get the nod for this year. Though does that mean I should revert to the Steelers?

Now, if you are open to the idea of having a PM driven war-room for the selections then the problem goes away, you act as the GM, you get input to help shape the trades / personnel choices. And someone else, or some other group, chooses for the Steelers.

Ha, well.. I could whittle it down right now. I mean, my first choice would be the Browns, because that's my team.. but I would be happy to draft for anyone. I was just saying I like those 3 teams, in that order, for teams that hadn't been mentioned. I'm a draft nut, I follow pretty much every team and I think I could do a fine job with whomever. I just wanted to be included. :)
