I just don't think ND has that type of talent that 02 OSU had. 02 played it close a lot but they were uber talented enough to match pretty much any opponent athletically.
It was definitely trending towards the type of game that Day has lost historically, but he, the staff, and the players pulled it out. Winning a game like this says more about Day having potentially turned a corner than either of the first playoff games, IMO
When Cody when down with that injury, I'm almost certain he lied about it being his knee. He had a concussion, not a doubt about it. Kid knew he wouldn't be allowed to stay in the game. I don't think I could be convinced otherwise. I know this move cause I pulled it more than once.
If OSU takes care of business tonight, it's all theirs. Neither of those teams from last night can score on Ohio State consistently enough, really can't stress how poor both of those QBs are generally. Get it done.
Honestly, besides Daryl Clark and Michael Robinson, the PSU QB room is bare since I've been watching. Anthony Morelli threw more TDs to the Buckeyes than his own teammates.
