    Home Repairs/HoneyDo List/Advice & Tips/etc.

I have some of the 1/2 inch OSB cut and screwed down, but am strongly considering tearing it up to put 3/4 inch OSB down. The joys of being a first time DIY'er. Also, is the glue something that is typically used nowadays?

    Home Repairs/HoneyDo List/Advice & Tips/etc.

Thanks, I have checked out other sites but could not get a direct answer. I don't need any suprises, such as the shower/toilet falling through the floor, so I thought I would double check.

    Home Repairs/HoneyDo List/Advice & Tips/etc.

I am putting a new upstairs bathroom in my 1950's home. Everything is ripped down to the studs and floor joist. My question is...I was told that 1/2 inch OSB and 1/2 inch cement board would be enough for the subflooring (I am putting in porcelain tile). Is that enough support for the subflooring?

Slavery A part of Georgia School's Math Test

I was listening to this story on the radio and I do believe there was also a cotton picking question on the homework. Something along the lines of "If there are 5 baskets of cotton that weigh 6 pounds each, how much cotton is there total?" Not sure what this teacher was thinking while she...

Jim Bollman (Stay calm and run Dave)

What some of you are failing to see is the offense was somewhat of a "team effort" during the Tressel era. Bollman called all of the plays from the press box, but had Tressel, Daniels (whom he trusted) and Hazell (whom he was beginning to trust) helping him create/develop the game plan...

    Yet again another dumb criminal

Ahhhhh, Chittenden Ave.! I miss that place, but am still shocked we had no troubles with burglary/theft while living in the bottom floor apartment that was slightly below ground. My bedroom window was ground level and I waited for someone to kick through it most nights.

    Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Is Chris Perez the worst player to ever be selected for an All-Star game? I realize the guy has only blown 3 saves to this point of the season, but he always seems to give up a hit or two and walk people when he does collect a save. In 39.2 innings pitched he has given up 32 hits and walked 19...

2011-2012 Men's Buckeye Basketball (Final Four Season)

Anyone with E$PiN "Insider?" They have a link on the homepage about Ohio State's basketball team titled "CBB Summer Buzz: Ohio State." Just wondered about some of the information that was discussed. CBB Summer Buzz

    Apartments in Columbus

And you must be a douche bag to actually think that living amongst drugs, poverty, and crime makes you a "tough guy." Do the bars where you live have 24 oz. cans of PBR?

    Apartments in Columbus

Whitehall and areas surrounding Bexley are extremely sketchy. If you are looking for a few prostitutes and grams of crack I would recommend looking there. I would suggest going a bit more east on Broad St. toward Blacklick if you were interested in that area.

    Cleveland Browns (2011 season)

Jackson caught 43 passes with Packers last year. Add that to him being a "blitz pick-up specialist" and it sure makes him sound like a quality 3rd down back to me...

    Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

My point exactly. You cannot be a "small-ball" team with over half of your lineup batting around .240 or below. Can you really rely on our lineup to collect 3 or 4 hits in an inning? By adding a power bat (I would even consider someone with 15+ homeruns a power hitter) in the middle of the...

    Cleveland Indians (2011 Season)

Correct me if i'm wrong, but weren't the Indians supposedly looking for a right handed POWER HITTING outfielder? Kosuke Fukudome: .273 BA, 3 HR, AND 13 RBI I realize anything will help the Indians offense about now, but this trade doesn't exactly excite me. If they gave up anyone...

Check out the Lifestyle Communities in New Albany or Gahanna. The wife and I lived at The Farms of New Albany for a year before moving to Cleveland. Some of the apartments are less than 3 years old and very nice. Some perks that I found while living there: nice pool area, tons of recent...

'11 OH PF Larry Nance (Wyoming Verbal)

Interesting choice for Nance. Wyoming has had quite a bit of luck in Ohio the past few years (Jackson from WGH and Harrison from ASVSM).

    Cleveland Browns (2011 season)

At first, I agreed with you, but T.J. Ward wasn't exactly a great pick by most last year either. People can like or love a draft all they want, but until the season starts (if we have one) you cannot truly grade a draft. Going into the draft I said they needed to find 4 starters. Taylor will...
