I just saw Coach Hazell on the news. He was asked about the guys doing some extra running and apparently being held out of the team practice.
Hazell: "Doing a little extra work today. That is all. That is about it right now. I'll let coach Tress handle that one."
Reporter: "Is there...
I really don't have a problem with people who smoke weed. Heck, I've smoked my share and probably more. But there are times in life when you just can't do it. I spent 4 years in the military and we were tested fairly frequently (at least 2 or 3 times a year it seemed). I never once even got...
Well that makes sense and jives with what I always thought. Him being being a walk-on but counting against the 85 scholarship limits if he plays makes no sense. But then again, it is the NCAA. Sometimes their rule book can seem stocked with more oddities and curiosities than a chinese flea...
Perhaps I missed something while skimming this thread, but how does that work? As a walk-on is he not allowed to play without being on scholarship or does it have something to do with his history as a pro athlete in baseball? Do the circumstances change for the 2008 season?
With the injuries on OL thus far, I am going to go with Shugarts. Barton is gone, early reports have him off to a good start, and his fellow incoming freshmen are dinged up. I think Pryor could also be big, but experience tells me that it is much more difficult to predict the level of success...
Take it FWIW, but according to the Freep, UM has closed the gap.

Go Wildcats! I went to the Trotwood game and was very impressed with the team. Extremely well coached. Their PG #22 really stood out to me in that game. The Trotwood team looked a little bigger and played ferocious defense. But Newark never lost their cool. My only criticism of them for...
Well I hope he does too, whichever school that might be. However, we are talking about an 18 year old. An age group not known fors its wise decisions. Let's hope that JJ is wise beyond his years.
I fully expect this to be a competitive game that will come down to who plays best in the 4th. Given the strengths of the two defenses, I don't see either team putting a ton of separation on the other.
I am predicting the Buckeyes will win. I think JT as a coach gives us the edge. But I...
Yep. There is a reason trick plays don't get run that often. They usually don't work! Throwing one in here and there when the risks aren't as high (in your opponent's territory) can be good to keep your opponent off-balance. But a little trickery goes a very long way. Given JT's reputation...
