SF William Buford - 4 BTT Title Games, most Buckeye starts (Virtus Roma - Italy)

I sure hope so. "Years" seems pretty optimistic given our recent NBA departure track record and William's potential.

Question regarding the 2010 tOSU class

When looking over the roster, I can't imagine anyone leaving early for the NFL draft in '09 / 10 - the first time in a while. It seems like we are always worried about someone.

SF David Lighty (Most Career Buckeye Wins, ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket - France)

Completely agree, and he still has all of next year to increase his stock for the pro ranks (be it the NBA or Europe). If this were his sr. year, and he would be ending his career, I might feel differently, but given the situation, if he can contribute in the tourneys, bring him back.:osu:

SF David Lighty (Most Career Buckeye Wins, ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket - France)

If the number is 20%, it seems like he would not be eligible for a medical hardship waiver (he played in 7 games out of 29 scheduled - 24% of the season). edit: If "Scheduled Contests" includes post season, the Bucks need to play 6 extra games to get to 35, (making 7 games 20%)

'10 CA QB Nick Montana (Washington Signee; transfer to Tulane)

The fact that his older brother is a walk on at his father's alma mater should tell you that coaches are not in the business of doling out offers based on pedigree.

Stuck in Lighty's cast I suppose - I think we are starting to appreciate what he did for this team that may not have been obvious when he was doing it.

Scholarship Breakdown by Position and Recruiting Class

Seems like currently, we have 3 to give to reach the overall 85 limit, with the possibility of 2 additional if there are casualties to stay under the 25 / class limit (25+4 early enrollees). Anyone know if students who enroll in spring quarter can be counted towards last year's class?

    Tradition (Split from Boyd)

I think the biggest gap between tOSU and those schools through a recruit's eyes - is National Media exposure. Hopefully the coachs sell that aspect. I don't think kids care that much about National Championships that were won back in the 50's and 60's.

The other 2 refs seem to realize about a 5-6 point advantage for the home team (probably about what home court actually gives you). This guy definately seems to be a homer.
