Haven't heard as many positives about Matta's position with Hollowell lately as I had late summer. Seems like he's leaning other ways of late. Anyone have any insight? :osu:

I liked what I saw in that hilite. He is more athletic than I expected and uses his left hand well for a guy whose rep is all about shooting. Hope Matta keeps after him.

Maybe he should consider redshirting next season then. To grow/mature and adjust to playing small forward.

+1 I think offering Anthony Crater and Walter Offutt so early ended up costing Matta some. Others now complain that he shouldn't have signed one-and-done seven footers like BJ and KK. But I don't agree with that and feel centers should be offered earlier as they are much harder and tougher...

So is he powerful and strong and athletic enough to play PF at the next level then at only 6-5 and not growing still?

I read somewhere that he has an offer from Wisconsin and that they are his leader. I think he's a planC, back-burner, for Matta at this point. He didn't impress too much this summer, so few majors have flooded him with offers evidently. :osu:

Royal isn't likely playing G at 6'7 with Scott and Parker on the team ( and likely many others under 6'3 ).
