From my brief interactions with Evan Turner and Dallas Lauderdale as a student, I can confirm this. They drove cars worse than me and I drive a 99 camry.
Watched most of the second half, everyone played well, but there is still room for improvement and better play. Fierce defending and keeping - I agree about some of the putrid announcing. If you get nine offsides, it means the other team's defense is playing well.
This may sound a bit blasphemous - but I'm not convinced this Buckeye team has that much more talent than Wisconsin or other teams in the Big Ten. At one point, talent will show itself and it hasn't yet.
This - aside from Thomas and maybe Craft - seems like everyone has gotten worse [or not gotten better]: Sullinger, Smith, Thompson, Buford, Sibert etc
As currently constructed and played, this is not a Top 5 or a Top 10 team - which is hard to accept given the expectations.
The baffles part is especially true - this is the ultimate two face team. They can play as poorly as this and as well as they did against Duke. Baffles and frustrates - this team could go the final four or lose in the second round and I would not be surprised either way.
