Yeah, it's huge that he'll be able to so his rehab under the expert guidance of the OSU medical staff. These type of injuries are rarely career threatening anymore, especially under the guidance of expert physical therapists.
I'm really rooting for JT as I love watching this offense with a QB...

Makes sense. He'd basically come in as a true junior. If he wanted, he could redshirt in 2013, in which case he'd go into 2014 as a redshirt junior.
Edit to add: I would guess that OSU is recruiting him with the assumption he wouldn't redshirt. Doesn't make too much sense in my opinion...
It sounds like Autry is extremely high on the Buckeyes and may even be looking to commit relatively early. He also mentioned that he's been talking to Glass, McMillan, etc. about possibly playing together for the Buckeyes.
We've seen this happen before where some top recruits start talking...
Interesting that OSU is high on the list of about half of UGAs top recruiting targets. Great job by Pantoni and company of identifying the top talent in the southeast very early and establishing relationships.
Similar to Shazier? That's who he reminds me of if he doesn't put on much more weight.
Seems pretty tall with long arms though, so I wonder if he could fill out into a 235-245 pound Leo in the mold of Thaddeus Gibson.
Good to hear he got the VIP treatment even though he doesn't have an offer yet. Sounds like he enjoyed the gameday atmosphere also. Just in general, that Nebraska game should be a real boon to our 2014 recruiting effort as the crowd was fantastic and the on-field product was pretty impressive as...
He seems pretty sold on the Irish in his latest interview. Very unfortunate because there is a real shot for early playing time for OL in the next 2 recruiting classes, especially a potentially elite OL like Byrne.
I play a lot of fantasy football and there was a lot of discussion this summer about knee injuries as many key players were coming back from bad ones. Some thought that Mikel Leshoures could be career ending. He's back and starting for the Lions. People thought Jamaal Charles would not be...
That's usually the case. Perhaps the fact that he is talking about his hometown school changes the dynamic a bit though and he is avoiding a lot of hassle by keeping the cardinals tied on top.
Reminds me a bit of Ray Graham of Pitt, though Graham has a little bit of power and not sure from that video if Scott does. Both have that crazy lateral explosion though.
What are the chances Jacobs ends up at CB? I know it wasn't really mentioned as a possibility when he committed and OSU needs some speedy playmaker types on offense.
However, he seems to have that really elite change of direction ability ("loose hips") and speed that could make him a lock down...
Definitely agree. I too will be rooting for Florida, even though the Vols are a much more fun team to watch.
Tennessee is one of the schools where their on field play this year will have a huge impact on their chances with top recruits. They need to show some real signs that they are on their...
I only watched about 10 minutes of this game, but Joey was impressive. He showed great closing speed and hit the QB low right as he was releasing the ball which led to an easy INT for his team.
As others have mentioned, his brother also looked like a really good athlete. Crazy that he is just...
Maybe, but it might be that Bob Bostad is the guy who really deserves the credit for Wiscy's OL and offensive success in general.
He was the OL Coach at Wiscy and initially followed Chryst to Pitt, but then was offered a job on Schiano's NFL staff in Tampa. I've heard that he's off to a great...
I made this comparison elsewhere, but he reminds me of Andrew Luck with the way he holds/releases the ball.
I'm no expert on QB mechanics, but he seems to have his hand over the top of the ball like Luck and has the overhand throwing motion.
As for the pro-style QB vs. dual-threat, I think...
Not much to go on, but what little the video shows is impressive. He looks like he has a great mix of size, speed and throwing ability.
Reminds me a little bit of Jeff Driskel. Seems to throw on the run really well and mobile, but not a big-time runner like Tebow/Braxton.
I remember in a previous article, it was said that Mass. HS rules say an athlete can't miss more than 2 basketball games for another sport or he's ineligible. And Reeves missed 2 to participate in the All American Game.
Seems kind of silly that they'd count official visits as participating in...
Perry could end up at TE or DE. He's pretty tall and thin for LB and his offensive film was really impressive in my opinion.
With guys like McVey and Hagan out, the need at LB is pretty big and I could see 5 (or 4 if they view Perry on offense) in this class. Especially since they should be...
With all these guys leaving the program, rumors of more exits floating around out there, and talk that one of the early commits might not qualify, this class could end up being even bigger than we've been thinking.
Could we add 2 or even 3 more OL? 3 more LBs?
At this point, it wouldn't...
